The TSS Visa has been introduced in March 2018 and replaced the previous temporary 457 skilled visa. This visa enables employers to address labour shortages by bringing in genuinely skilled workers where they cannot source an appropriately skilled Australian.
Temporary Work Visa
The TSS Visa has been introduced in March 2018 and replace the previous temporary 457 skilled visa. This visa enables employers to address labour shortages by bringing in genuinely skilled workers where they cannot source an appropriately skilled Australian.
The Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (subclass 482) allows overseas workers to fill temporary skill shortages in Australia. Employers are able to bring skilled international workers into Australia to solve labour shortages if they are unable to source Australian workers with the right skills for the job. TSS Visa holders can work in Australia for their approved sponsor in their nominated occupation under one of three streams, which have different requirements and conditions.
These are:
The Short-term Stream – This visa is available to you if your employer wishes to sponsor you as a skilled worker in your occupation that is listed on the Short-Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL)
The Medium-term Stream – This visa is available to you if your employer wishes to sponsor you as a skilled worker in your occupation that is listed on the Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) or the Regional Occupation List (ROL)
The Labour Agreement Stream – This visa is available to you if your employer is sponsoring you and has entered into a Labour Agreement with the Department of Home Affairs (Immigration).
3 Steps
a sponsorship application by the employer
a nomination application for a skilled position by the employer
a visa application by the proposed employee.
Each step is a separate application that has separate requirements.
Contact us for details of the three different streams and to discuss which one will best suit your needs and circumstances. The temporary Subclass 482 visa allows workers to accept a job offer from the Australian employer who is sponsoring them. Applicants are restricted to only working for this employer in the nominated position (unless the sponsorship is taken over by another employer). It allows for full-time work for a period of up to four years (depending on the stream and other conditions), but it can sometimes be extended for further time periods.
Eligibility: To have basic eligibility for the Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (subclass 482), the applicant must:
be nominated for a skilled position by an approved sponsor
have the right skills to do the job
meet the relevant English language requirements and other conditions that apply.
Job skills: The applicant must be able to show that they have the skills and right experience and qualifications to be able to do the nominated position. Skills assessment may sometimes apply.
English language requirements: The applicant must have a sufficient level of English to meet the requirements of the position and the visa stream they are applying for.
Age: There is no age requirement for this visa.
Length of stay: The length of stay varies according to the applicant’s circumstances, what the nominated occupation is, and which visa stream is involved. The Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (subclass 482) can authorise stays in Australia of one to four years.
Family members: You can include other family members (who are referred to as ‘secondary applicants’) in your visa application.
Health insurance: TSS visa holders (and their accompanying family members) must have adequate arrangements for health insurance during their stay in Australia.
General requirements: All Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (subclass 482) applicants must generally be of good health and character.
The Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional Visa Subclass 494 visa is an employer-sponsored type Provisional visa for five years that allows overseas workers to fill temporary skill shortages in Australia with the plan to facilitate permanent stay in the future. Employers are able to bring skilled international workers into Australia to solve labour shortages if they are unable to source Australian workers with the right skills for the job. 494 Visa holders can work in Australia for their approved sponsor in their nominated occupation under one of two streams, which have different requirements and conditions.
Streams:

407 Training Visa
The Training Visa (subclass 407) allows overseas workers to undertake workplace-based occupational training programs to improve their skills, area of tertiary study, field of expertise or in a professional development training in Australia.
There are generally three stages when applying for a Training visa.
These are:
STAGE 1 – SPONSORSHIP.
An Australian organisation must sponsor you before you are able to apply for this training visa. The sponsor must apply also to become an eligible one and get a corresponding Sponsor status which is valid for up to 2 years.
STAGE 2 – NOMINATION.
The nomination of the position to be filled by an applicant. Nomination is the stage where the sponsor provides details about the nominee (intended trainee), the purpose or type of training and how and where the training will be undertaken.
There are three types (streams) of nominations available:
Occupational training required for registration
Occupational training to improve skills in an eligible occupation
Occupational training for capacity building overseas. This includes overseas qualification, government or professional support.
STAGE 3 – VISA.
Personal visa application by the nominated applicant and any accompanying family members as appropriate. The maximum validity period of Australian Subclass 407 visa is two years.
At Beaura Visa we assist our clients with all the stages of the program. We also assist other immigration firms and prepare the Training Programs (Plans) required for the Occupational Training Stream.

Amazing and really professional service!!
Let me tell you this incredible story.
Late in 2020, my boyfriend and I wanted to give up and go back to France because of Covid. But Artem convinced us to make the effort and promised us to help us through the process. We heard many cases of people working with incompetent immigration agent and waisting time and money.
Not even a year after the beginning of the process we got Australian Resident , plus a baby on the way.
Now that I think about it, I will do it all again because it was so easy.
Beaura Visa are more than Lawyers, there are mentors. If you do the things one time and respect what they ask you to do, they will guide you and support you during the uncertain time of the process!
Stongly recommand
